In the past 50 years, glaciers in Alaska have contributed one-third of the global mountain glaciers to sea level. On the basis of RGI 6.0, we use remote sensing and GIS technology to update the glacier catalogue data in Alaska. The data source of the updated glacier catalogue is the Landsat oli spatial resolution 15m remote sensing image in 2018, and the method used is manual interpretation. The results show that there are 27043 glaciers in Alaska, covering a total area of 81285km2. The error of data obtained by RGI is 4.3%. This data will provide important data support for the study of glacier change assessment, regional and global impacts of glacier change in Alaska under the background of global change.
