The research direction of Tianshan glacier station is to reveal the change history of the natural environment, predict its change trend and its impact on human beings by observing and studying the physical, chemical and biological processes and evolution laws of glaciers and related phenomena in the glaciation area. The research contents include the physical, chemical and thermodynamic characteristics and processes inside and outside the glacier, as well as the environmental and climatic information contained therein, including the interaction between glacier and other earth spheres (atmosphere, geosphere and biosphere), and it is the main body of observation and research at Tianshan glacier station. The research content of glaciation area is relatively wide, mainly including snow cover, periglacial landform and Quaternary geological landform, glacier hydrology and meteorology, frozen soil, ecological environment and resource utilization in high and cold regions. Conventional observation projects involve six disciplines and more than 100 items. This data set is from 1995 to 1996 in Tianshan station.
