It is based on the administrative division map of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region published in 2008 and combined with the administrative division map of the people's Republic of China (1:4 million).
1. The paper maps of the administrative district map of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region published in 2008 and the administrative district map of the people's Republic of China (1:4 million) were scanned with digital high precision; 2. Referring to the administrative district map of the people's Republic of China (1:4 million), using arc / Info software to manually vectorize the administrative district map of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, mark the attribute data according to the attributes in the original map, and then use the longitude and latitude coordinates in the map as the control points for map re projection, select WGS84 projection, longitude and latitude coordinates.
This data is processed by Xinjiang Institute of ecology and geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and vectorized by professionals. The error is controlled within 2 pixels, which ensures that the vectorized boundary is completely consistent with the boundary of topographic map, and the data accuracy is as high as 99%.
