This data set is aimed at Kunlun Mountain coal mine glacier, including serial number, longitude, latitude and thickness. The data set contains 113 measuring points. Ground penetrating radar (GPR) (pulse ekko pro100) is used for thickness measurement. Firstly, the propagation velocity of radar wave velocity in glacier ice is measured, and the related parameters of GPR are modified and set. The center frequency is 100MHz, the antenna distance is 1.5m, and the measurement interval is 20m. At the same time, the GPS positioning of the survey points is carried out. Protocol sharing is adopted. The data set contains four fields: serial number (unit: year, month and day), longitude (unit: Degree (°)), latitude (unit: Degree (°)) and thickness (unit: meter (m), that is, ice thickness at the measuring point in the current year). The space datum is WGS84, and the accuracy of radar thickness measurement is controlled within 1cm.

In the data measurement, the propagation velocity of radar wave velocity in glacier ice is measured first, and the relevant parameters of GPR are modified and set. The center frequency is 100MHz, the antenna distance is 1.5m, and the measurement interval is 20m. The method of combining profile method with point measurement method is adopted, and the GPS positioning of the measuring points is carried out. The measurement process is standardized and standardized, and strictly rechecked.
Before using ground penetrating radar (GPR), the propagation velocity of radar wave velocity in glacier ice is measured, and the parameters of GPR are modified to ensure the most accurate thickness data of corresponding glacier.
