This data set is the observation data of runoff field and soil moisture content in xindiangou watershed, the first sub area of Loess Hilly and gully region from 1954 to 1960. The soil water content of runoff plot with different soil and water conservation measures was observed. See the description of xindiangou runoff field for the runoff field. The main monitoring indicators include "field number", "measurement times", sampling time, soil moisture content (%) "vertical average soil moisture content (%)," precipitation between two measurements (mm) ", day, hour and sampling depth (CM) 0-10, 10-20, 20-30 and 30-50.
