This data set is for the yuzhufeng glacier in the middle section of Kunlun Mountains. The data content is the field GPR glacier thickness measurement results carried out in yuzhufeng glacier in 2015. The data format is TXT text file format, including 75 point measurement records. The data set contains the field GPR thickness measurement results of yuzhufeng glacier in yuzhufeng area in 2015. The file is a text file of TXT, which contains the GPR thickness measurement point information of yuzhufeng glacier in yuzhufeng area in 2015. Elements in the data file (all measuring points): serial number; longitude (unit: Degree (°)), accurate to 8 decimal places; latitude (unit: Degree (°)), accurate to 8 decimal places; thickness (unit: meter (m)), accurate to 1 decimal place. The data set space refers to WGS-84 coordinate system, the plane coordinate accuracy is ± 5 m, and the thickness accuracy is about 5%.

Field measurement data in 2015.
Using ekko Pro ground penetrating radar produced in Canada, and using 50 and 100MHz antennas, the glacier thickness was measured by radar. Before the measurement, firstly, the radar wave propagation velocity in glacier ice is detected by using the tape and antenna of different frequencies, and it is applied to the thickness calculation of radar host to obtain the glacier thickness with the highest accuracy.
Before using ground penetrating radar (GPR), the propagation velocity of radar wave velocity in glacier ice is measured, and the parameters of GPR are modified to ensure the most accurate thickness data of corresponding glacier.
